TOPICAL PAIN MANAGEMENT

Topical pain gels can be a very effective alternative to oral medications. Topical formulations can avoid some side effects that are common with oral formulations such as:

- Drowsiness

- Physical dependence

Compounding is crucial for pediatric patients due to the need for dosages that are not commercially available or for dosage forms that are better suited for pediatrics. We work closely with both the provider and patient to formulate medications that will ensure safety and efficacy for the patient.

VETERINARY

We can help out your furry friends, too! Animals are mostly dosed based on weight, so often times commercial drugs are not available in the doses they need. We have helped dogs, cats, horses, snakes, rats, ferrets, and even the occasional bearded dragon. We can formulate dosage forms and add specific flavorings that are more palatable to your pet.
